Academic Regulations
The Diploma programme in Pastoral and Theological studies is an integrated programme designed for equipping church ministers for the church and the contemporary society. It lays a biblical and educational foundation which transforms the minister's character, skills and ministerial commitment.

GOALS OF DIPLOMA IN PASTORAL AND THEOLOGICAL STUDIES
- To develop the spiritual, mental and social aspect of the student.
- To equip the students with practical skills for effective ministry.
- To establish the student in sound evangelical and biblical doctrines.
- To prepare the student for further studies.

REGULATIONS AND STUDENTS ASSESSMENT
Student academic performance at Moiben Theological College is measured by continuous assessment, term papers and an exam at the end of each course. Course grades accumulate throughout the three years and the average forms part of the academics basis for graduation.

GRADING SCALE
Each grade is given a numerical value called a "Grade Point" that will be used to compute the student's arranged grade called the "Grade Point average" (GPA). In Moiben Theological College grading Scale will be as follows:-

ACADEMIC HONESTY
MTC students shall be guided by the principles of faithfulness and honesty in all things. Plagiarism, copying from other students and unauthorized materials are serious offences and leads to cancellation of exams.

ACADEMIC PROBATION
Students with GPA below 1.3 (one point three) shall be placed on academic probation for the following term and if the student is placed on probation for three consecutive terms it will lead to automatic dismissal from the college. A student earning a GPA of less than 1.0 Shall be dismissed immediately for academic reason.

TRANSCRIPTION OF GRADE POINT AVERAGE
The number of grade point earned in a course is obtained by multiplying the number of course hours by the number of grade points per credit hours for grade received in the course. A student cumulative grade point average (GPA) is obtained by dividing the total number of credit hours attempted.

Requirements for Graduation
A candidate for graduation must fulfill the following:-
- Academic :
Must complete the entire required course for Diploma programme, accumulating the minimum credit hours of 168 hours and have a GPA of 1.7. - Character :
Must demonstrate evidence of Christian character and conduct. - Ministry Skills :
Must responsibly fulfill practical assignments and ministry. - Recommendation :
Must be recommended by the faculty and approved by the college governing board. - Finance :
Must clear all financial obligations to the college.

Graduation Ceremony
- It is mandatory for graduating students to attend graduation ceremony at MTC.
- Every student will be issued with a graduation gown upon a fee payment to the college.
